Schools these days have many resources available to them. Most parents or guardians when looking for a school that they would like to send a child to would visit a schools website and read all the policies, and activities a child can get involved with. They would also see how their child would be educated at the school. Once a child is enrolled at the school the parent or guardian will keep a close eye on the website for updates. Most schools will send out monthly newsletters so that anything on the website is handed out or put on a notice board outside the school.
All of this information can be relayed appropriately and effectively with everyone together. The JAD technique can be used for as long as it needs to until the project team can determine what the requirements and solutions may need to be proposed or thought out until there is a mutual understanding and a clear
This can be done using SEAL lessons and SEAL groups. We run social groups where children are encouraged to talk and work out strategies on dealing with behaviours and problems they might have. We follow time to talk programmes to develop communication skills and retracking programmes for children who may need to reflect on any problems they may have had that week, this involves finding strategies so that it doesn’t happen again. We are lucky to have a team of play therapists that take small groups of children with issues once a week. All classrooms have posters promoting positive behaviours and feelings.
“Wiggle Away” introduces Kindergarten students to meaningful and valuable movement experiences involving gymnastics and dance and is based on the theoretical approach of Educational Gymnastics and Dance Composition. This movement approach allows all students, regardless of their skill level or ability, to participate confidently and comfortably in all tasks and to develop their knowledge and skills at their own pace (Wall & Murray, 1990). Communication, problem solving and social skills are very important aspects of physical education and through this subject; students will continue to develop these skills (NSW BOS, 2007). As stated by Brown (2008, p. 8), there are “three dimensions of the concept of movement namely, education through movement, education about movement and education in movement.” This unit encompasses all three of these teaching techniques and allows students to not only be instructed, but also to explore and discover movement for themselves. The unit also gives the students the opportunity to participate in frequent reflection times and discussions of the movements used to solve problems or explore different ways to move within structured tasks.
Bringing a character on stage to life can be a difficult task. You have to find the right voice, body language, clothing, and the right expressions. In my high school the theatre students were so outgoing and creative. I admired them for their ability to take a brief description of a character and recreate that character on stage. Bret has this admirable quality.

[INTRO] With only three actors, three chairs and a room full of space, a story was created within a story through dynamic physicality, contemporary beats and both classic and modern text. Zen Zen Zo’s performers are currently travelling Queensland entertaining teachers and students from grades 8-12 with their physical theatre performance of ‘Romeo & Juliet’ which was directed and designed by Steven Mitchell Wright. Throughout the performance movement, mood and music were used in new and exciting ways by Mitchell Write to explore the message of love triumphing over all/rejecting authority. (Which one am I supposed to do?) Do rejecting authority, because you relate to it better and you can make references to current teen culture… [CONTEMPORARY PERSPECTIVES] The main message of the performance Romeo and Juliet rejecting authority of their parents.
