A military compensation plan is not only appropriate because of the sacrifices these men and women make on a day-to-day basis, but also because these men and women are of real value to the civilian sector. Organizations seek to employ veterans because they know they have been through some of the best technical training, have gained first-rate work experience, and possess some of the best intangible qualities. The military also realize their personnel are highly sought after and losing them will be a significant loss to the organization especially after the investment they have made with the schoolings and training they have provided. When you take this factor into consideration along with the true sacrifices these men and women make the military has formulated a compensation plan to attract new members as well as retain their existing ones. Description of the Plan The service men and women of our country are compensated (paid) on a salary basis.

An HIV/AIDS person is also a human, and he/she has many reasons for working, including: a) Working because people have to make their own income (WOJO, 2009); b) Working to provide the benefit as money, food, and new media... for their family's lives or society (Susan M. Healthfield); and, c) Working because people love what they do and find their true value in their entire lives (WOJO, 2009). Working is an important factor in leading an HIV/AIDS person return their normal lives. While they fight against their HIV virus, they need money to treat and take care of their family. Almshouses were religious and were supported by donated money and services. Traditionally, hospitals were immune from tort law because they helped the poor, advanced education and religion, and provided for the community. However, after the Civil War, the rationale for supporting charitable entities changed due to the transformation of healthcare. The transformation that occurred included: Governmental programs and healthcare plans that paid for operating expenses; Liability insurance to defend costs and jury awards; and Healthcare’s change to a market-driven industry. An understanding grew that non-profit organizations should be treated the same as other companies regarding third party liability claims.

The Human Resource Management team has the ability to make the necessary changes to combat the nursing shortage. Rearranging workloads amongst staff members alone would help immensely. The majority of nurses experience burnout from a combination of factors such as age, emotional tiredness, depersonalization in the work area, and a feeling of underachievement being that so many tasks are placed on any one individual. We must remember that illness will always be around. Without the help of Human Resources, the problem of maintaining a healthy patient to nurse ratio will continue to grow.

In my opinion, there are two kinds of handicapped individuals: ones become frustrated and believe that because of their disability they will never be truly appreciated. The others become more determined to overcome their physical incapacities and to demonstrate that despite they are regarded with fear or superiority, they can have a normal life. These are individuals who deserve our respect because they have to work hard, they are ambitious and powerful. The government offers financial support and all sort of facilities to those who really make the proof of being self confident and desire with all their heart to integrate in the society. People with disabilities tend to be more responsible than normal people, they realize that they have to fight for their rights.
