Logan Genson When an individual enters a dull office, you instantly get the impression that the person who occupies it is a very boring person. But with a more in depth look, it’s clear that Bobby’s office captures his love for popular culture to a tee. He also has things that are very close to him personally. The office is very plain. The shelves lay empty and do nothing but collect dust. The file cabinets also stand bare and locked up away from daylight. The plain white walls, for the most part, have no décor what so ever (minus his college degrees). Its clear that Bobby’s love for comic books, popular culture, past success, and his family are the driving force that make him the man he is today. His love for The Man of Steel dates back to his childhood days where he most likely ran around the house with a red cape “flying faster than a speeding bullet.” Superman is the ideal hero; he always does what is right and good for the world. He never hesitates to jump into action, even if the outcome could mean death. As long as he is doing what he believes is right he will do it. He is just, uncorruptable, kind, merciful, tolerant, and resolute. Take the best traits of man, assemble them together, and you’ll have Superman’s psychological profile. Since Bobby loves Superman its possible that he also holds these ideals and philosophies in high regard, and chooses to live his life with these principals. The same can be said for The Green Lantern. The Green Lantern Corps is an intergalactic police force that patrols the galaxy. They always work and act in a group, and are often seen with other members (unless of course you’re Hal Jordan).
