I would say that the problem that there is now and will continue into the future would be the economy problem along with other problems as well. The economy right now is really bad and everyday it just seems to get worse by the day that goes by. I think that we are going to struggle to get up and be able to maintain ourselves and as well as family. I think that the inmate population is just increasing as well to. The economy is making people turn into crime to get money.
Client satisfaction and retention could suffer due to longer wait times and lack of company responsiveness due to a decreased work staff if the telecommuters aren’t available. Because this risk is such a lynchpin to the project’s success, the probability of occurrence is very low. The initial action is to have weekly status meetings, with additional meetings scheduled as needed to monitor and bring additional resources to the table if remaining target dates and milestones aren’t going to be hit. This will also be the plan to mitigate the risk
The United States’ economy is essentially the base of society. However, throughout history, as the economy has grown, serious problems have come up. The poverty rate today is extremely high, the minimum wage is not sufficient in providing for a family, and there is also discrimination and inequality all over the employment frontier. Also, many businesses are reluctant to enable employees to form unions. All of these problems over time have led to serious debate for change in the economy.
This has resulted in more services being needed to support the continually ageing population. This is a problem due to the amount of finance needed to support them on this scale, meaning there is less money for other sectors such as education. As people are living longer, this care is required for longer, which causes the dependency ratio the rise. The dependency ratio is the relationship between the proportion of the population who are working and those who are dependent or not working. As the ageing population continues to grow, the dependency ratio will continue to rise and there the ratio of workers to dependents in unbalanced.
This would significantly increase the pollution. The increase in pollution would then cause the government more money into the health care sector, as more people would now suffer from diseases such as asthma and lung cancer. It would also affect students, seniors and people who work low-income jobs[2]. For these people the TTC is usually their only means of transportation, which would disrupt the way they do simple tasks such as going to school. Some people would argue on the hand that if Toronto did not have the TTC, then the
Expanding our police force would put a lot of people at ease, as well as jobs back in our communities. Today’s economy stirs up a lot more thoughts, questions and definitely some concerns. People all over the world are losing their jobs, losing their homes, losing their loved ones for all sorts of reasons and worst of all chaos is breaking out slowly but surely. With a lot more people homeless with a lot more people having nothing to lose, this is raising the crime bar up a notch or two. The communities are
While theft and low income consumers bring the possibility of providing only moderate revenue gains, if not a loss, operating in impoverished areas can also be a source of growing potential for the business. Many companies advertise philanthropic missions, such as donating to charities every year or helping to provide for the families of their employees. While these are messages that consumers hear, a more powerful message can be the one that the consumers themselves see. Rather than closing down those stores, Company Q should focus on the reasons for the high crime, and offer ways to reduce that crime rate. Offering work programs that help prepare young people for management or skilled positions is a good way to take crime off of the streets while showing to the community that the business cares about the welfare of the population.
The lack of on site childcare causes many people to miss work with the odd schedules we worked which required many working late into the evening and on weekends. One of my sources stated, “Today many businesses face recruitment and retention issues, asking how to attract and keep the best and brightest. For some, on-site childcare is a valuable employee benefit as well as a sound business decision. It is important for a business to think about its responsibility to understand the family issues faced by its workforce as well as the larger issues.” (“On site child,”) This benefit would be greatly appreciated by the employees who a parents of small children. It’s only logical for our center to implement the on site child care since it is currently in many of the Verizon call centers nationwide.
These children may leave home with the intent of living successful lives, but may soon find out that hardships come along and divert their plans. “Young adults are taking longer to start acting like adults” (Feldman, 2014, p 451). “It is also understood that recent economic circumstances, such as the high cost of living and high youth unemployment rates, have made living away from home more difficult (Mitchell & Gee, 1996) and perhaps have resulted in greater acceptance of returns under certain conditions” (Mitchell & Gee, 1996). One of the reasons that boomerang children return home is due to economic problems. They leave home and find that living life away from home is costly and most of them are working for
Here you have to have some education and a good paying job and wear brand name clothes but there are some citizens who may look high class but they just dress well to make other people assume that they are. A lot of native people have to get time off their jobs do to traditional ceremonies and they end up putting it behind them because they need the money. Today education is important to getting a good paying job which puts a lot of pressure on the youth. Many are afraid that their culture and traditions will soon die out. The parents today tell their children to do well in school and bring that education back to help out their people.
