Leaders are individuals who are concerned with doing the right thing, and managers are individuals who are concerned with doing things right. Leaders of companies and organizations are often faced with challenges of motivating employees to adjust to cultural changes and organizational structural. In large companies or organizations, the efficiency of managers depends on the influence they have over their subordinates, as well as their peers and superiors. Also will need to establish the productivity measures and compare those with the company or organization figures. Lastly, the manager will need to have a team meeting; take contribution on achieving the goals set by the manager, and institute a common goal for the teams. The transformational leadership style will work for the restructuring strategy with the new management practices, because the teams are mature and under the strong leadership of new management. In order to allow the new transformational leadership to be effective, one will have to recognize critical competencies, educate their employees, and motivate, empower, and encourage the teams to facilitate them to focus on accomplishing their goals effectively. It is important to engage the employees in the critical thinking process, decision making process and setting a common subsidiary goal that will be able to help the specialists to merge well with the existing teams. The first step of effective leadership is to recognize the various needs and concerns of the clique and the social network on the job. In the simulation, the manager realizes that it is not so a desirable circumstances of being responsible for the teams that have clearly resisted the leadership. The manager had to resize and restructure the team for the best intentions of the team to understanding the formation and fundamental sub-structures, and their impact on supporting the group thinking towards organizational goals. The success of the leadership was reliant on the leadership style and decisions that utilize the influence of the teams’ behavior and the kind of teams that was chosen to execute those decisions.
