She plans to purchase some this weekend to assist her with more accurate graphs. She really hates that she had to leave class early, she wanted to see everyone’s presentation. La Quandria enjoys her teammates as group member. She believes the team need to get our momentum back up. She believes everyone probably needs a break in between classes because there is no time to regroup in between class.
When Mrs. Howell called on students to answer her questions, she stated their first name every time and used positive feedback after each answer. These techniques demonstrated an environment of respect and rapport. She also allowed each student to share their idea or response every time she asked for an answer or response. Mrs. Francis has a very humble and optimistic spirit. I have known her since the years when I attended St. Anne’s School. Every day, she impacts a student just by being kind even if the student is having a bad day. She surely knows how to turn a frown upside down. She encourages all the St. Anne students to study hard and always try the hardest.
Sarah Pageau Religion December 11, 2011 Per.1 8B I walked into Las Vegas Day School’s 3C classroom excited and nervous for the first day of school. My teacher was Mrs. Negrin. She was super nice and made us all feel welcome. I was looking forward to this year because I heard from the big kids that we all did a lot of fun activites. My goals for the year were to have lots of fun and get good grades.
From an early age others see that she is exceptional. “When we entered the first grade, we were examined by... Miss Leep, who announced that we were gifted: Leah, on account of her nonchalant dazzling scores on reading-comprehension tests...”(56). Leah is able to quickly learn how things work and how to use them. Kingsolver depicts Leah as someone who is able to learn quickly, however, Leah only learns what intrigues her. Leah uses her knowledge of mathematics to teach in Anatole’s school.
I realized that being a counselor is not easy. She has to meet with a lot of kids every day, do communications log, and provide assistance to the kids in any way she can. I know a long day of work can sometimes be really exhausting, however my mom does not give up and still does everything she can to parent me. She guides me in the right path and is always there for her. Her perseverance on keeping things the right way is so amazing.
She was very talkative in her classes. That is how she figured who her favorite teacher was. This teacher would teach her adding and subtracting by corporal punishment. This confused me, because she said Mrs. Wimbush was her favorite teacher. She later explained that Mrs. Wimbush showed her the potential in her and brought it out.
She never gave up when things became rough. I admire Madera and everyone else in this world that never gives up continues his or her pursuit against life’s many challenges. In the wake of every challenge there are lessons learned and rewards. My reward for studying hard in high school was the acceptance letter sent to me from East Carolina
She has a compelling voice I will never forget .I remember Ms.Gentilini being a dedicated ,motivating, patient and intelligent person that challenged me to better myself every day. For instance one day in class we had a writing assignment and i was a little puzzled on the prompt ,Ms.Gentilini came over and said “sacoya your a smart girl and you can do it just take your time and use the skills I taught you “ that motivated me to think harder to understand
I had lot of support making sure that I was not facing the difficulties or challenges alone. I had the chance of meeting the most wonderful young lady in my school, she have been the most supportive woman I could have ever meet in high school. She was there with me every single step of high school and getting all my school information organized the way they are supposed to be. With Ms. Francis help I learned a lot of skills that I never know I could have mastered in school at all. I am a person who love being in school that’s where my family lies, school have a lot of different people but the god ones are hard to fine.
