Throughout history many influential men have been part of our great nation. One of these great men is Mr. Abraham Lincoln. The 16th president of the United States helped us through one of our countries darkest hours, the Civil War. This was just one of his major accomplishments. In office Lincoln faced one of the toughest situations any president has ever faced in our country, a civil war.
John F Kennedy-The American President The first president born in the 20th century. John F. Kennedy was a Congressman, a Senator before becoming the 35th president of the United States in 1961. As president he faced a number of foreign crises, especially in Cuba and in Berlin. He did get and increased minimum wage, better social security benefits and protected civil rights. Kennedy was a respected and a beloved president of all times.

Serving for two terms and turning down a third, Washington returned to his Virginia home. George Washington will forever be a hero in American history. John F. Kennedy John Fitzgerald Kennedy was born on the 29th May 1917 in Brookline, Massachusetts to Joseph Patrick Kennedy and Rose Elizabeth Fitzgerald. John F. Kennedy was often referred to as ‘JFK’ by his friends and family, and is commonly referred to as JFK today. JFK had three brothers and five sisters. In September 1941 whilst war was raging across the world, particularly in Europe, JFK was medically disqualified from the US Army for his chronic lower back problems, he then joined the Navy. Kennedy was working in the office of the secretary of the Navy when the attack on Pearl Harbour occurred.

And that is exactly what Hamilton was. Hamilton was a great man with great ideas. He worked from poverty to riches symbolizing the American Dream. He was one of the founding fathers and helped create the greatest republic throughout history.

The most significant of these accomplishments was the abolishment of slavery. His love for America motivated him to do what he knew to be just. Lincoln had a meaningful, but shortened life, but he still accomplished more things than most other people in their lifetimes. Abraham Lincoln, the greatest man in U.S. history, had a childhood, education, and achievements that are exceptionally commendable.
Joseph thought it was imperative for self-improvement and public service I a good spirit of competition and victory. In 1941, John tried to participate in the army, but was rejected because of a back injury he received playing football at Harvard. If it wasn’t for his father’s influence he would’ve gave up, but he didn’t and he finally got into the army. In 1943, he became a hero by saving the life of a crew member off the PT boat that was sunk by a Japanese destroyer. Along that process he almost died from malaria because of the aggravation he caused in his ailment and contracted.
