Individual Case Study | Executive Summary Motorola is one of the most successful mobile phone manufacturers due to its product design. Also, the distribution and logistics department are taking important part in the success of company. This report is design to shows Motorola’s managers an overview of company’s recent logistic situation along with the identification of possible issue and solving strategies. Motorola Vietnam is now introducing Droid 2 as the first 3G supported mobile in Vietnam. The product is imported from Malaysia and distributed by 2 Motorola center in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. The situation of Motorola create issues not only In inbound logistic but also warehouse issues when there are just too few distribution center compare with the geographical characteristic of Vietnam. The strategy of CPFR is then determined as the most effective plan to solve problems. Cooperating between Motorola and its trading partners help improve company’s logistic issue. Both side gains profit from this strategy.
