If we paid for students when they get good grads may be this habit will stick with them for life. They always will try, if they got the choice of course, to pick the easiest course in which the high grades is granted instead of picking the courses they really like or they really need with their majority. Instead of seeing the value behind doing the hard work to finish their study and going to the college to graduate and helping people they will be worry about what they will get for doing anything good .They always will worry about what they get and how much cash they will get if they did anything good. The young students of today are the future doctors and engineers or even business leaders of tomorrow and they already learned that it is always about money. They won’t help people who need them if these people don’t have money.
Her father moved in with me to my parent’s house. I graduated with A’s and B’s, which was hard. In the next three years we had two more kids. Then he started acting funny. He couldn’t hold a job down for more than a month.
College Failure It has always been believed that higher education is a key factor for success. Attending a college or university provides more opportunities for graduates, which are not as widespread to those who have not received a higher education. However, sometimes possessing a college diploma seems not to be enough for employers, who are more and more valuing the graduates’ job skills over their grades. According to Kathleen Parker’s article “Colleges are prepping students for failure”, colleges are not adequately preparing students for their future jobs. Thus, employers insist that students should increase their educational achievements.
An education can open doors to opportunities that would have never been possible were it not for the education and preparation that one received while in school. With the fluctuating economy and hesitant times, it is more important than ever for our nation’s children to receive the proper education and training that will allow them to acquire a good job and produce the revenue needed to live. Unfortunately, there are many problems facing our education system today, and several of them are having negative effects on the quality of the education our students are receiving. It is our duty as educators to try our very best to work through these problems, solve them if at all possible, and still provide our students with the best possible education. One such problem that is attacking the education system in America is the alarming attrition rate of teachers.
Though college offers a valuable learning experience for most students, it is not necessary to students who are not entering career paths that require a great deal of higher education. There is no experience better than that of the real world, so if a student has the passion to work on an idea that he or she thinks will be beneficial to the world then they should invest in that idea rather than staying in college to satisfy expectations of Society. Attending a university in order to achieve high education is broadcasted all over schools and the media and after a while students begin to get into the mindset that earning a college degree is the only way to be successful in life. Simply put, these financial institutions are offering gimmicks such as pre-approved accounts at terms that cannot be repaid with a minimum wage job. Students are of the age that their parents do not need to know that the even applied for a credit card until they have gotten themselves into trouble with them for nonpayment. This trend has many college students becoming trapped in the financial nightmare of high debt acquired while in school. Mario Escobedo English 35 September 5, 2012 Success is achieving what you have set out to do, an accomplishment. Lately students have lacked success in education. I believe with the right motivation, being around positive people, and being organized can really determine a student from being successful or dropping out. Although there are many strategies, without incorporating these three methods, students will most likely not achieve success in education. First of all every student needs a motivation to get a higher education after high school, but the question is how are students going to stay motivated throughout the semester?
You see, not everyone is college material. College is hard, demanding, exhausting, time-consuming and requires a lot of commitment--not everyone is capable of enduring all of that for the length of time it takes to graduate from college. I have also noticed in my counseling that teenagers who are forced to go to college right out of high school often don't take college seriously enough. Generally in that situation, the teenager treats college like it is just an extension of high school. I have seen students go to college because their parents forced them to, then cut classes, not study, do way too much partying, and get poor grades.
For some people that’s the only way that they can afford to be in school. For both the pros and cons would be able to be easily researched and to find numbers to support them. People will be able to easily to connect to the issue especially if they are college students. It would be harder to get public support to get them taxed because very few people are going to be excited about getting
Why should students feel they need to put forth the extra effort, if they can give a mediocre performance and succeed anyway? Knowing that students will receive the same grade regardless of the effort they put in, steals all the sense of accomplishment from studying, working hard, and receiving the high mark they know they deserve. The other major problem with grades being given away is it is becoming extremely difficult to discern the competent students for the incompetent ones. This means that employers can no longer look solely at students’ grades to judge their academic prowess. Employers not trusting students’ grades will only make the already competitive job market that much harder for recently graduated students to enter.
