The need of discipline is to keep law and order and to ensure people know what they are doing, and can do a task efficiently in time. Discipline is a way of making people follow rules and regulations, it is not a punishment.

They enable you to provide a good quality service working within the legal framework and most importantly aim to keep you and the individuals you support, safe from danger or harm.
