Tebow or Not Tebow The idea of public display of faith has always been around, and with that has always been criticized. In society difference is not accept and this is quite obvious. Tim Tebow’s PDF, if you will, is no exception. The reason why it is under such scrutiny is because of the question that is raised. Is he truly acting out of faith, or is he just trying to just get attention? In my opinion, his questionable PDF is truly out of faith. If you are to watch him on the sidelines and in the huddle, you can see how composed he is the whole time. Even when he is down two touchdowns he is still positive and calm. I have never seen this type of composure in any athlete, ever. In Vatican II the idea that practicing faith is stronger than speaking out about it, and this is exactly that Tebow is doing. Also the nature of faith is an aspect of this top that must be looked at. His PDF is in the here and now. He is displaying his faith in times that require it. Tebow acts in the here and now, which is the nature of faith. He focuses on his actions that are going on now in the hopes of positively effecting others. Believe it or not, winning games as an underdog makes a lot of people happy. It is important to understand that he isn’t acting on the future, which would add negative motives to his faith. Another important aspect to look at when trying to make an informed opinion about Tim Tebow is the mission of evangelization. In now way does Tebow for his faith or beliefs on anyone.
