“So go and prepare to receive your harvest”. Coach Grant was convinced and was determined to also inspire his football team with God’s word. He also mentored to the football team that there’s nothing they can not accomplish with having a little faith ;a bit of mustard seed is all you need for God to prevail his grace and mercy, This includes the miracle of a winning season when all hope seemed lost. In this book God had a lot of favor for the coach and football team. God showed up and showed out.
So they all gathered as a family one day and decided to ask Michael if he was okay and that if he wanted to join the family, Michael was slightly confused because he already thought he was part of the family, they were all happy. Michael started playing football but he wasn’t as successful Coach Burt expected him to be that’s when Leigh Anne intervened and told him to defend his team as he would defend her and the family. He soon understood and started to play way better. S.J. soon intervened by making Michael practice and exercise everyday.
When he had dreams of greatness, he didn’t hesitate one bit to share with his brothers and dad. Because he was the most adored and had awesome dreams, his siblings got very jealous and eventually tried getting rid of him. As he got older, Joseph learned a lot through a lot of painful experiences. His positive responses to hardships kept him moving forward, he didn’t spend time asking why things happened to him; he did what was right and those who watched
He is always well prepared for the competition and never looks scared. Whether facing the best team or the worst team in the league you can always expect Adrian Peterson to leave everything he has on the field. Adrian Peterson will never play down to his opponent’s level, but you can expect him to rise up when playing another talented opponent. Adrian is a team oriented player, during the season, in the offseason, at practice, during pregame, or during the big game his team mates have no problem asking for his advice, giving him their advice or congratulating him on a great play. Adrian was quoted saying “I am starting to realize that a lot of guys look up to me, older guys, and even younger guys, are asking me questions and ask me about how to handle situations.
Doodle was proud of himself, and for his brother. After their success, Doodle began to believe in the power of persistency, and in his brother’s “infallibility”, and they began their newly devised plan where Doodle would learn how to fight, swim, run, and even how to climb trees. Looney actually only got one A grade but didn’t receive any bad marks and G is very proud of him for this.
In the ring, you need every edge you can get. Guardian’s health and happiness has been the most vital factor all these years. I have had to pay studious attention to, how hard he can pushed and when not to push him. Similar to human athletes, they get fatigued, and they can only do so much per training session. What I love the most about playing sports, more than anything, is the competition. Competition to me, is what sports are all about. Some may argue saying they're about teaching discipline and building character, but to me, it's about competition. Yes, those are very important characteristics one should have, but when it comes down to it, it's all about winning. Why would someone work their tails off, practice for numerous hours a week, eat right, and focus so much on being the best if winning wasn't important?
