Individual under the age of 21 commit 45 percent of rapes,44 percent commit robberies and 37 percent commit sexual assault. Its estimated that the population as a whole, 50 percent of violent crime is related to alcohol use. And most of this teenagers are at high risk of sex intercourse, because the alcohol in their system is too high, they have sex with anybody without knowing the person and the person may become eventually become pregnant and they have to accept the responsibility which they might not be ready for and they may end up aborting the baby which is another sin. They may also have unprotected sex with someone who is infected with a disease such as Hiv/Aids, syphilis, staphylococcus and other sexual transmitted disease therefore passing it
Yosr Gamal Miss Lynn English April 18, 2013 Bullying victims Teen suicide is a major issue in today’s society. Teen suicide has been the topic of numerous news headlines. Many of these victims were Amanda Todd, Tyler Clementi, Olivia Penpraze, Rehtaeha Parsons and many more that ended their own lives because of bullying. Bullying usually starts off as teasing but then turns into continuous teasing and mocking. According to WHO, someone around the globe commits suicide every forty seconds.
As mentioned in the findings, the range is from poverty, violence (including gun possession), bullying and harassment, teen pregnancy, sexual behavior, alcohol and drug abuse, mental health issues. The “Mental Health Issues and Services” list several concise and well documented frightening facts about today’s youth. Even though alarmingly high, they reported that 12% of high school aged students’ complete suicide. Suicide rates are on the rise for persona aged 10-14 years. Limitations: There aren’t clear outlines to firm up the statistics.

Teenage suicide among adolescents 15-19 the third leading cause of death ("Childtrendsdatabank.org," 2013). According to "Healthychildren.org," (2013) “An average of four American teenagers commits suicide every day” (para. 3). In 2010, firearms accounted for 40% of teen suicides ("Childtrendsdatabank.org," 2013).
More and more people are dying every day from alcohol related accidents and the sad part is, is that lots who die from alcohol related crashes, are victims. Someone supporting this issue, like me, would feel this way because we want to insure the safety of youths everywhere, and manly on the road. More and more people die every day and I wan to try to take the death rate down a notch. A person opposing this issue would disagree with me because, they would probably like to have youths make mistakes and learn from them, but what I say is, “What if you only have one chance?” An other thing an opponent would say would be to take the Europeans drinking in to thought,

Emotions are running wild, and stress and peer pressure can cause teens to make bad decisions such as drinking and driving. Teens tend to take more risks as they are easily influences by friends, the media, and their own emotions. (Loughry, 2004) Drinking and driving is another leading cause of fatal car accidents among adolescents. When teens drive after drinking alcohol, they are more likely than adults to be involved in a car accident, even when driving less alcohol than adults.
It is a very dangerous way of drinking that can lead to serious problems and even death. v) In 2010 the National Survey on Drug Use and Health reported that 26% of youth aged 12 to 20 years drink alcohol and 17% reported binge drinking. vi) In 2011, the Monitoring the Future Survey reported that 33% of 8th graders and 70% of 12th graders had tried alcohol, and 13% of 8th graders and 40% of 12th graders drank during the past month. vii) In general, the risk of youth experiencing these problems is greater for those who binge drink than for those who do not binge drink. 3) It is true that alcohol has a number of reactions on people who consume it, but again the effects of alcohol are completely different when it comes to the gender.
