Brandon Fernandez Professor Ali ENC-1101, 113 September 10, 2011 As I walked through the huge elevated door, revealing to me a place I would love to go back to. I was greeted warmly by a well-dressed attendant, her blue and white uniform gave her a professional look. As I made my way down the aisle, my carryon bag rolled closely behind. The cold air rushed at me the minute I walked in, which made me feel content on bringing a sweater. The air was filled with murmurs of delight, children crying, people laughing, and the heavy breathing of those whose nerves got the best of them. As I looked ahead, I saw I had made it to my seat, G14. Luckily, it was a window seat. I looked to my left and out the window; I had a perfect view of the wing. After looking outside for quite some time, I began to fidget with the air condition control, aiming the air away from me and turning it off. Leaning against the window, I rested my head on my left hand and stared outside. As my fingers ran through my hair, the grease and roughness told me that I could have used a shower. After regaining my comfort, I starred outside the window, but instead of looking at the wing, I was more fixated on how tired I was. I began to close my eyes and started to feel myself lose touch with reality, but that was short-lived when a man came on over the loud speaker, "Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking, we would like to welcome you onboard American Airlines, flight to Rome, Italy. Flight duration is around ten hours and six minutes. We are expecting a fairly smooth flight today. Once again, we thank you for choosing to fly with us today and we hope you enjoy your flight."
