Discuss the advantages and disadvantages of airplane Since the last century, along with the development of technology, airplane has now become a very popular means of transportation. In my opinion, it has both advantages and disadvantages. First of all, the biggest advantages of travelling by airplane is that it is often the fastest way to get from one place to another. Especially when long distance are involved. It helps us save a lot of time so we can do many other things. Secondly, I think it’s the comfort and conviniency of air travelling that makes people satisfied. When travelling by air, you can just sit in one place, you have your foods and drinks served carefully, you also have a lot of entertaiments such as TV, books, magazines,… You do not have to cope with noisy crowded road. Besides these advantages, however, travelling by airplane has its own disadvantages, too. Firstly, it is often the most expensive way of transportation. Some people might not be able to afford the expenditure. Secondly, it is said that air travelling is kind of dangerous. There is always the possibility a terrorist would hijack a plane, or sometime airplane can get aviation accidents. Dispite the fact that airplane brings a lot of benefits to people’s life, I keep the firm hold on the view that airpalne has both advantages and disadvantages.
