You have to deal with them wanting to be independent; attitudes are developing, and the tantrums. Disciplining a two year old is also a big challenge. There are many different ways to discipline a child, but it all depends on the parent. I found this question written by Lynne Sanford Schur, and would like you to consider it. “Why is it when we see a parent smack their unruly child in public - despite the fact it’s entirely legal and the child belongs to someone else - we stare, we glare, we want to call child protective services.
Also, Lizebeth learns that she can not act like a child anymore because she is now viewed more as an adult. The main reasons why I relate to this story is because of the overall theme that every action has a consequence, the main character coming of age, and because the story dealt with the conflict of peer pressure. In the story “Marigold’s”many of the characters come to the realization that every action has a consequence. An example of this is when the main character Lizebeth threw rocks at Miss Lottie's marigolds. The consequence of this action was getting yelled at by Miss.
Ms. Johnson realized that she had to break the standardized curriculum of the school. She taught her students about verbs and used unfavorable words such as “I want to die”, “I choose to die” and the like. She worked hard to motivate the students to do their schoolwork by bribing them with candies, prizes and field trips. The more important thing that Ms. Johnson did to her students was to challenge their abilities and push them to be better
My sister finally showed up and yelled “STOP TOUCHING HER!” She let them know they were doing more damage to me than I would if I did bite my tongue. When I tell people I have Epilepsy they always apologize, But what I always say don’t apologize for something you didn’t do or cause. I think that the people who are texting and driving should be penalized harder that way everybody will learn not to be texting. Texting while driving can cause an accident in which leads to huge consequences. The majority of people who txt while driving are teenagers who lack driving experience and are already at risk of having or causing accidents. Jose Gonzalez Period 1 Live Affected First of all, all of the stories impacted me greatly in the sense that they were all tragic and I will try to not get close to those incidents. However, that one that most impacted me was the first story of Michelle I believe. Her story impacted me the most because if I come to think about it, it would be really painful for that to happen to someone. I can relate to that story, not personally though. I always see these types of stories of women losing their husbands in car accidents and things like that.

If couples are spending a great amount of time in front of a T.V., laptop, or smart phone and not actively engaging with each other, it makes complete sense that their relationship will end up suffering. Even though advocates against child abuse work diligently every day to put an end to child abuse, it is tragic because child abuse can cause physical and emotional distress along with many other factors and child abuse can lead to developmental issues and detachment from others. In the book “A Child Called It”, Pelzer says he lived a normal and healthy life until his mother became an alcoholic, transformed into a monster, and began expressing her anger on her child at the age of four (Pelzer, 1995, Loc 1344). The physical injury or ill-treatment of a child under the age of eighteen by a person who is responsible for the child’s wellbeing under circumstances, which indicate that the child’s health or wellbeing is harmed or threatened thereby, is the definition of child physical abuse, defined by The National Center on Child Abuse and Neglect (Newton, 2001). Ethical theory is an idea that helps a person form personal standards to help them differentiate what is morally good or bad. Child abuse within any standard is morally wrong in the eyes of most people.
I would start crying and start moving around. The nurses would hold me down and the doctor would give me a shot and after that I would be so mad with my mom for letting them give me a shot. The way I would act I can relate to “Mary Ainsworth”, to her Ambivalent Attachment Pattern, is a style of attachment in which children display a combination of positive and negative reaction to their mothers: they show great distress when the mother leaves, but upon her return they may simultaneously seek close contact but also hit her or kick her (Development Across the Life Span, R.S.P, 2011). As soon as my mom would try to get close to me I would hit her n be so angry with her. I didn’t stop being afraid of them until I was about 7 years old.
