Alzheimer’s Society Charity Alzheimer’s society is a membership organisation, which works to improve the quality of life of people affected by dementia in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. About 20,000 members of the Alzheimer society charity have personal experience of dementia, and as carers, health professionals or people with dementia themselves, and their experience help to inform the work. The charity is leading support and research charity for people with dementia, their families and carers. There are 800,000 people with dementia in the UK with numbers set to rise to one million by 2021. The society’s fight for a better world for people will all types of dementia takes a wide range of forms.

The corporation has been successful for over 40 years in the United States. CVS Caremark is designing a global expansion strategy to target areas that are profitable and promising demographically.
I chose to research a business by the name of Extendicare. This facility is a profitable organization that is ran by many different locations but under the same corporation. Their mission is to keep the resident or client as happy, comfortable, and safe as possible. The corporate company is a team playing company, as far as working together as a team to make the business work.

From a recent web-post, AMHCA reported that a total of 7,000 mental health professionals have now joined the organization. This total numbers of new members are far cry from the 50 members reported in 1976 when AMHCA was formed (American Mental Health Counselors Association, 2013).
