Part 1 When trying to convince the business committee to accept my proposal for new services I do not want them to quickly dismiss my idea. I want to make all of the committee happy so I have to do extensive research and make sure my plan is well thought out. The main issues are going to be money and renovations. When making the proposal I will make sure to answer all questions that the committee may have even before they tell me what their issues are. I will make sure that they are aware that a lot of time and thought went into the proposal and that I know what I am talking about. Email 1 Dear Committee member, This email is to inform you of the time of the meeting and the agenda of the meeting. Our meeting is going to be on Friday at noon. The purpose of the meeting is to go over the new proposal I have came up with about starting a daycare center. I look forward to meeting with you on Friday. Compare and Contrast In the first email I was letting the committee member know about the date of the meeting and also letting them know what the meeting was about. In the second email I was thanking a committee member for all the help that they provided me with my proposal. The differences between the emails is one was a bit more professional in letting the committee member know about what was going on and what was expected of them.
