Many of these victims were Amanda Todd, Tyler Clementi, Olivia Penpraze, Rehtaeha Parsons and many more that ended their own lives because of bullying. Bullying usually starts off as teasing but then turns into continuous teasing and mocking. According to WHO, someone around the globe commits suicide every forty seconds.
The worst thing she passed was when she got raped. Melinda survived being bullied throughout her 9th grade School year, and then became popular; Bullying does not only happen in this novel, but can happen in the real life, as what happened to the kid in The Everest School last year. Lately, there have been many news stories about young adults who have committed suicide due to cyberbullying. In today’s society, the internet has become very common and it plays a major role in teenagers’ lives. They can shop, express their thoughts, and even make new friends online. It is also important to note how easy it is to distribute information across the internet in very little time. While there are positive outcomes of the internet, there still exist dangerous aspects to it, such as bullying.
I know when a scam is happening and the telltale signs of a virus coming to a device. “Cyber-bullying” claims that “42% of children have been bullied while online. 1 in 4 have had it happen more than once.” Whether it is hateful messages or spreading nasty rumors, cyber bullying has been a major issue in the past few years. You hear it all the time how children that are committing suicide from being cyber-bullied. “Ages 9-14 are most common as both victims and bullies. Girls are twice as likely as boys to be involved in cyber-bulling, as victim or perpetrator” “Cyber-bullying”.
Guns are interesting toys so that kids will find gun around and will play with them. For a depressed teens convenient access to a gun may make it easier for them to commit suicide when they think they cannot do anything else or life no longer has any meaning to them. Can you imagine children bringing guns to school so they can play with them? If it becomes true, it will kill the future of country. Children are the hope of the future, and how the country grown if children know only bad things?
Social networking sites are becoming more popular and more popular every year, cyberbullying also becomes a bigger issue every year too. With everyone on social media, they can stick up for the victim getting bullied and show the bully there is more to life than being a bully to a person. Eighty-four point two percent of students who have been cyberbullied has been on the social media site of facebook ( ). When colleges and businesses use social media to see if they should recruit a person they would know not to hire the person if they saw any cyberbullying going on and that person could then be punished. In the world over a billion people use Facebook on a daily basis ( ) as everyone uses facebook they can see and stop what bad is going on too.

The main problem is that cyberbullying is more threating than ‘real life bullying’ because the bully is often anonymous. It is a recent problem, especially among youngsters, and it is difficult to control for schools. Twentyfour point three percent of Dutch youngsters has been bullied via the Internet (Kerstens & Wilmsen, 2012). Cyberbullying is very strongly associated with the traditional way of bullying.
