The Greatest Educators Ever vs. For the Love of Knowledge Paulo Freire and William Brickman were two wonderful educators who made great contributions to the world of education. First, we will discuss their theories towards education and how these theories impacted their philosophies on the improvement of education in their time. In addition, I will explain some of the resistance each of them confronted in advanced stages of their research. I will also compare and contrast their contributions towards education while exploring components that could be possible contributors to their progress and their impact on a diverse array of contributors and scholars (Flanagan, 2005). Paulo Freire had to relocated his family to the country, where they experienced poverty's effect on education due to the crisis and the crash of Wall Street (Flanagan, 2005).
David and his family experienced hard life in their new country. They were fight for their settled life; work and study hard explored the dominant society and culture in America. David’s father taught his children to work very hard to show they were as good as the other people this country. David was very proud of his attainment. Froebel said himself that this unfortunate event and his unhappy childhood influenced his whole life (Shapiro, 1983 as cited in Krogh & Slentz, 2001). Froebel experienced many different occupations. As one of his jobs, he was teaching in Anton Gruner's school at Frankfurt. It was a city where liberal ideas and reforms were welcomed. Froebel had found his passion in education and had a plan of a school.
Mortenson received donations and funded all the money he earned and worked very hard for it. He even sacrificed leaving his new family to go back to Pakistan to make sure he kept his promise to finish building the schools for the uneducated children. By building these schools he knew for sure it would help the children in the long run and that he was making a change bigger than life itself. Even though Mortenson faced many daunting challenges in his hectic quest, he managed to dedicate himself one hundred percent to this life changing experience no matter what he encountered. This man was a very inspiring humanitarian who had no money in the beginning of his journey but succeeded to help thousands in need in
Not only did these boys survive but they came up in the world and now serve as an example to young people everywhere. Role models played a very important factor in the lives of these individuals. Ms. Johnson, a third grade teacher, pushed George to strive for more in his life. Ms. Johnson’s biggest contribution, was her ability and desire to expose children to college and higher learning, making what seemed impossible to most of them a not-so-distant goal. The exposure from a young age can have great impact on children’s lives and it certainly worked for the three men today.
"Educated men are as much superior to uneducated as the living are to the dead" Aristotle wrote. Education is an essential concomitant of all nations, so they are racing in providing the best education to their citizens, in order to cope with the pace of advanced technology in different fields. Each country has different education system, which determines by its policies and cultural background. Three most notable areas seem to stand out between the American and the Libyan education systems, which are the curriculum, extracurricular activities, and the teacher-student interaction inside the classroom. The most critical difference between the education systems of both countries, is the quality of curriculum, in terms of flexibility, critical thinking, and mandatory classes.

An education can open doors to opportunities that would have never been possible were it not for the education and preparation that one received while in school. With the fluctuating economy and hesitant times, it is more important than ever for our nation’s children to receive the proper education and training that will allow them to acquire a good job and produce the revenue needed to live. Unfortunately, there are many problems facing our education system today, and several of them are having negative effects on the quality of the education our students are receiving. It is our duty as educators to try our very best to work through these problems, solve them if at all possible, and still provide our students with the best possible education. One such problem that is attacking the education system in America is the alarming attrition rate of teachers.

Why college is important to me My parents were hard working individuals who loved each other and provided our basic needs food, clothing, shelter and most of all discipline. My mother is matriarch of the family, but my father was a hard working, well respected individual with an eighth grade education. My father was a stump digger and hauler and became a self taught heavy equipment operator. After witnessing him endure multiple injuries and near death incidents I knew this was not the career path for me. This is what started my life pursuit of getting an education.
