We began our journey Wed. October 27th at 3pm and ended October 30th. Site and Facilities Our departure to the Great Smokey’s began Wednesday October 27th at 3 pm from Campus Recreation center. Once each car met up they were to call the graduate student in charge of transportation to let him know we were safely on the road and headed to our first location, The Residence Inn North 1080 Newton Pike Lexington, KY 40511. This facility was set up very nice with great service. Each room was given complimentary bag of candy along with hot breakfast in the morning.
When I woke up that morning, I practiced my speech for two hours. I practiced my showcase for a one hour and my jokes for two hours. When I got done practicing, I went backstage. I went backstage to get ready the clothes that I was going to wear for the event. When I got done getting the clothes that I needed for the event, it was 4:00 pm.
