Even though Akeelah feels protected and accepted around her coach and other former spelling bee friends she still gets mocked by her classmates and even her own mother is against her goal for the spelling bee. Her mother had issues dealing with her husband passing away and her one of Akeelahs brothers out on the streets doing bad things. Akeelah fights threw her afterschool activity and homework at the same time. Akeelah later finds her life revolved around the spelling bee. She slowly starts not doing her main
She strongly dislikes her sister’s eagerness to fit in at school and tells Bianca, “You don’t always have to be what other people want you to be”, which shows us that she thinks Bianca should be herself and not follow in the path that her fellow school mates take. These two quotes show us how Kat feels about individuality and how she thinks it affects others. We often see Kat getting kicked out of the classroom for expressing her opinions which shows that she doesn't fit in. One of the first scenes in the movie shows Kat in her worn down car.The punk rock music coming from Kat's car is very different compared to the teenage girls in the car to her left. The camera shows the first group of teenage girls listening to music that you would hear on the radio, and then shows Kat, alone in her car, looking bored with her punk rock music blaring from the speakers of her car.
Rita is Liverpudlian and, as Russell experienced she didn’t try much in school, he expresses her feeling thus; ‘But studyin’ was for wimps wasn’t it? See if I’d started taking school seriously I would have become different from me mates, an’ that’s not allowed.’ You can see by this that Rita did not try very much in school as she tried her best to fit in. I will explore this further later in the essay. This play is different to many that you may see; it consists of just two characters, Rita and Frank, her Open University teacher. There is also just the one set, Frank’s book lined study.
She stopped to get something to eat and saw her whole group meeting without her, she felt extremely unappreciated and knew the group members didn’t respect her contributions. When Janet missed a meeting to help her boyfriend that shouldn’t have been a valid excuse, Christine said nothing and carried on. The next mishap Janet didn’t answer her phone when Christine tried contacting her. The lack of communication led to misunderstanding between what Janet wanted out of the project and what Christine thought Janet wanted from the project. Christine was a marter and didn’t mind taking over the project and letting Janet be a loafer.
The last part of the paper consists of strategies that could be used in the classroom to prevent undesirable behavior from occurring. In Mrs. Grabowski’s tenth grade algebra for beginners’ mathematics course, a male student, Timmy is continually accused of stealing from unsigned notes placed on my desk. Timmy has a record of misdeeds but nothing has ever been proven because of lack of evidence and uncooperation from fellow students. These unproven charges have left a black cloud hanging over Timmy; however, there are a few fellow classmates who believe in his innocence. I have spoken to Timmy privately on many occasions about his lack of doing class assignments, homework, and his general deportment while in class.
Single Sex Schools Compared to Coeducational Schools While parents are sending their children off to school, no matter what grade they are in wither it be elementary, junior high, or high school, they expect that their children will receive the best education they can get. They should be acted imposing questions, encouraged to participate in class, and should also be given as much help as needed to succeed by the teacher. However, this is most commonly not the case. Gender bias is not a noisy problem so parents and the children themselves are unaware of what is really going on in the classroom. Although boys and girls are taught together, should classrooms be separate due to the lack of female education compared to males?

Even when it is decided that he did not really mean what he said he runs into a lot of students at school who now hate him, especially after his family decides to sue the school. His "friends" were the ones who goaded him on and now they abandon him. Ugly Girl is sort of a punk-type girl, studs in her ears, tall, big (but not fat), and very, very independent. She calls herself Ugly Girl, though, it is not the other students that are doing that. She will stand up to anyone and anything, warrior-women Ugly Girl, as she puts it.
Since her mother spends her greater part of her time on Stan instead of using some of her off-duty hours on Annabelle, Annabelle lacks her mother’s attention. She just wants acceptance for actions. At home she feels overlooked and in the school she fades in the crowd. She is just an ordinary girl nobody really notices. Annabelle is having a hard time accepting the fact that her father and mother aren’t together anymore and her father has been replaced with Stan.
