J.P. Morgan John Pierpont Morgan was born in Hartford, Connecticut on April 17, 1837. His father, Junius Spencer Morgan was a very wealthy and well off financier, it was his father who had taught J.P. about the family’s finances and business, which he was going to inherit as he became older. J.P. was a very talented young individual and was willing student who was educated at Boston’s English High School and then had enrolled in the University of Gottingen, in Germany. When he was in high school J.P. had already traveled and explored much of Europe and had sparked his love of art, which would stay with him throughout his life. After he had graduated from Gottingen at the age of 20, he had traveled back to New York to pursue a career in finance.
A man from Germany named Johannes Gutenberg invented the printing press, which made it possible for people to have copies of books and letters in much lesser time than they were used to. Also, their way of communicating (like writing letters to each other or expressing knowledge through books) improved because of it. The invention of the printing press was one of most notable inventions from the last millennium because it brought important changes and accomplishments. The first support of how the printing press improved in communication is how Martin Luther took advantage of the printing press to spread around his ideas of the Church and indulgences. He was the creator of the 95 Theses in 1517.
After pursuing with that Gallaudet became interested in writing children's books. Gallaudet was a well known man for all the things he did. After graduated from Yale, Gallaudet was not quite sure of the direction he wanted to proceed in terms of a career. He had many interests to include working in a trade, attending a seminary or perform in the capacity of a traveling salesman. Temporarily, he worked as a legal apprentice before deciding to return to Yale University in 1808 as a graduate student where he obtained a Masters of Arts degree.
