The importance of the blue ocean strategy is that it keeps companies looking for untapped markets, which will provide new goods and services for the consumer. A product or service that might be considered a blue ocean move can be as simple as mixing alcohol and energy drinks packaging them and selling to the public. Anheuser-Busch could do this as long as the energy drinks do not contain caffeine. Mixing alcohol and energy drinks is not a new idea, but in November of 2010 the Food and Drug Administration declared caffeine an illegal and unsafe additive to manufactured alcoholic beverages. So now breweries cannot manufactures energy drinks with alcohol.
Royte’s excerpt makes many views of the effects of tap water and the different types of problems associated with drinking it. In many areas, they say it is okay to drink the tap water but there are a few instances where the water needs to be filtered. She explains the different types of bacteria’s in tap water around the United States but she does tell how the bottled water companies do not answer to the public and how they are being untruthful about their purification of water. Although she believes they are untruthful, she provides little evidence of that. She is being quite vague about her conclusion that water bottles are not the best source of water.
Second, bottled water is harmful for human being and the environment according to the Environment Working Group. Bottled water is costly and wasteful, but this does not stop people around the world and especially those living in developed country to be addicted of bottled water. The typical cost for tap water is $0.0015/gallon while a gallon of bottled water at prices ranging from $0.89 to $8.26 per gallon. The big difference in cost does not encourage me to drink bottle water because Water is a gift from our nature I do not think that the bottled water industry has the right to sell water in a such a high price since the only thing that they do on it is to filter it and put it in plastic bottle. According to EWG, people believe that the taste that taps water has meant that tap water is bad that is why the run to bottles water despite his cost.
Attention Getter: One of the easiest ways to reduce the amount of calories you consume a day is by switching to diet sodas. These sodas contain no calories, unlike their regular non-diet version, which often has around 150 calories per can. However, the issue with diet sodas is that some studies suggest that this no-calorie drink is risky and can be dangerous. A study looking at 2,564 people in New York City found that those who drank diet soda every day had a 61 percent
This is not only unfair to those who drink sodas and sweet beverages, on regular basis, but it’s also unfair to the young adolescents who need to learn about the value of living a healthy lifestyle. And, certainly taxing all the factors that causes obesity is not

Eleazar Almazo October 2-10, 2012 Hunter Writing Soda Ban: Against The NYC government should not ban drinks larger than 16 ounces. For example, Arizona would be banned. Mayor Bloomberg stated you can buy the little soda drinks that when you add the calories, they equal the same as the big sodas. Even though I oppose to Mayor Bloomberg’s action, I get what they are saying. It higher the sugar which increases fat but it makes no sense buying 2 or 3 little bottles that can equal the same amount as the big cans.
They also mislead us, by telling us that bottled water is better than tap water because the tap water is polluted. Yes the water is polluted because of the big water companies are polluting the water by the way they recycle and the other way people throw away bottle water. It is really not that hard to pollute the water if the U.S buys more than half a billion bottles a week. She tells us to take back the tap. We can do that by not buying bottled water and to drink tap.
Analyse the possible motivations of The Coca Cola Company for its position and its measures on obesity. Coca Cola has various motivations in doing this campaign. First, it is a way for them to prevent them from a negative publicity. Indeed, NGOs are accusing sugar-sweetened beverage of being responsible of the rising obesity. Through this campaign, Coca Cola is saying two things: they are fighting against obesity meaning they are socially implicated which is valued by consumers and so create a good image for them; then, Coca Cola is not responsible of obesity because they sell no calorie beverages and so in fact the consumers are the ones responsible of choosing such beverages.
Hydrogen peroxide is used to cure common colds because it can kill bacteria but is used in very few quantities, for too much of the compound may be dangerous to the good bacteria in the skin. It is not frequently used and may not work if the procedure is done after the virus has already spread. A doctor in 1928 called Richard Simmons believed the rhinovirus, which was the virus that caused colds, found entry into the body through the ear or the mouth. By putting hydrogen peroxide in the patients' ears, it can kill any bacteria that is in the ear canal;thus, the virus can be destroyed before it spreads any further throughout the body.
