Albert Speer wasn’t any ordinary citizen, he was smart and sophisticated. He knew that he may need employment in the future and he knew the Nazi party may have been a path. Art was a crucial aspect of expressing Renaissance ideas. Italian sculptors, painters, and architects in particular did a fantastic job of communicating Renaissance concepts in their artwork. Three of the most central humanistic beliefs during this period of time were the appreciation of the individual, the emphasis on the real rather than the abstract, and the imitation of past civilizations. The sculpture “David”, by Italian artist Michelangelo, is an excellent example of the humanistic emphasis on appreciating the individual and dignifying the human kind. Michelangelo depicts David as a strong, godlike figure, emphasizing the size of his hands and feet.
Andrea Palladio (1508–1580) was born in Padua near Venice[1]. Having trained initially as a stonemason in Vicenza during his teens, he was later to become one of the most influential architects of all time. Palladio drew his influence from the first century BCE writings of Vitruvius (De Architectura) and favoured the order and restraint of the ancient classical style. Perfect proportion, rhythm and symmetry were features of the classical architecture Palladio applied to his designs for villas of wealthy Italian merchants and nobles in northern Italian cities such as Vicenza and Venice. From 1541 onwards, Palladio regularly travelled to Rome with the help of his patron Count Giangiorgio Trissino.
Leonardo da Vinci's large mural of The Last Supper is one of the most familiar images in Western art, even though it has deteriorated to the point where its original brilliance can only be guessed at. The mural has largely been known through its repainted versions, or through touched-up copies that attempt to give some idea of what the original might have looked like. But, the various versions of the picture do little to convey how revolutionary Leonardo's whole conception was. At Milan, Leonardo created a work that treated a familiar subject, but was a complete departure from the usual in terms of composition, selection of a Biblical text, iconography, use of perspective, and fresco technique. Leonardo arrived in Milan in the early 1480s, and made one of the longest stays of his career there--nearly twenty years.

His high skill set of defense and honor toward Trajan allowed him to be recognized. He was not just going to get a military career for no reason. He needed to show he was dedicated. Unfortunately for Trajan, Hadrian enjoyed the easy life, preferring hunting and civilian luxuries; instead of protecting and defending the romans. Trajan recalled him back to Rome, he was outraged.
