Doddle was obviously attempting to do something that may have killed him but he’d tried anyways. His brother being ashamed of him being invalid brother, wanted to train him run, swim, climb trees and fight. But because of his brother having to go to school and Doddle being sick, they were a bit behind they’re scheduled. They decided to double the efforts. “Wherever we went, I would purposely walk fast until Doddle face turned red and his eyes became glazed.” Doddle was trying to beat his disabilities but it was something he couldn’t have beaten.

In life, unreliable people surround us. These people often break promises, bringing disappointment to others. Sometimes the undependable person may not realize the disappointment the empty promises bring to others. Like in the quote from “The Ship Shape” by David Sedaris, the father expected the family to be excited about the promises, but instead they were disappointed because they had been let down numerous times.

He is able to get his message about faith across without uttering a word. This is exactly how the Vatican II council wanted its laity to act. Tebow acts in the here and now, which is the nature of faith. He focuses on his actions that are going on now in the hopes of positively effecting others.
