He actually risked his life and tried to triple his IQ, by going through a surgery. He was also cheated and was not told that there wasn’t enough research in that area. The saddest and worst effect was that he will always remember being a brilliant genius but he will never get the chance to be on again. That is just a little bit compared to the other sad things he went through, but that is why I am against him having the
It is important to keep a balance of the important things in one’s life otherwise, weaknesses can be developed that shadows over a person’s natural strength to prioritize. A balance of the important things in one’s life is what allows personal success to be achieved. Successfulness is the ability to seize new opportunities and explore new paths in life. Balance is the key to success because when there is balance in one’s life there is a cut back of stress, which makes room for the ability to thrive; and a person’s ability to thrive is what carries them to their personal success. Growth maximisation is where the firm’s main goal is to increase the size of the firm as much as possible. Some firms may have the objective to maximise revenue, this basically is when a firms aim is to achieve as high total revenue as possible and occurs when marginal revenue to equal to zero. Another objective of s firm may be a profit satisfaction, this is where a firm produces a profit which is deemed to be a reasonable level, which is satisfying to stake holders and is not maximising profit. The best example in a leisure market is a firm that has been recently set up and wants to survive so the first couple of years their target will be to make a profit and survive. If they try to maximise profit it would an unrealistic competition as
Gruener 1 Hailey Gruener October Sky Homer and his father never really saw eye to eye. I have worked hard to build a trustworthy reputation to safely operate a reactor and perform maintenance, and I also understand that it only takes me making one poor decision to destroy the admiration for my integrity that I have worked so hard to gain. It was once said by the founding father of nuclear power, Admiral Hyman Rickover, “I believe it is the duty of each of us to act as if the fate of the world depended on him. Admittedly, one man by himself cannot do the job. However, one man can make a difference... We must live for the future of the human race, and not for our own comfort or success.”(Rockwell, 1992) I could not agree more with this quote. This is an important message the poem has reminded me of. Emotionally, there are times when I just give up, but this poem gave me the inspiration to not think this way because there are various of ways to overcome the obstacles life has randomly prepared for us. The wall is an assertive symbol expressing the challenging obstacles hindering our lives, but like the poem says, we can persistently push through like a flying helicopter or find passages under the wall. Life is full of walls that seem to not budge, but when work hard to pass the obstacle, we will know that we have succeeded and that is the greatest present life can give us. Whether I lost hope or just gave up, “Where there's a wall” reminds me to persevere no matter what by becoming a rocket shooting over the wall or tying SOS letter to a bird or even exploding like a bomb.

Not only is this is a motivational piece, but it’s also telling the truth, it also lets people know that hard work pays off. Thomas pains quote is a motivational piece because it’s telling people that in order to get something you will value, you will have to work hard to get it. That is a life lesson some people miss. Hard work pays off in the long run.
Atticus’ courage shows to be more moral in the book because he is doing this for everyone and not just himself. Mrs. Dubose’s courage is seen to be more emotional because she is doing this for herself. Their courage’s are similar in ways but are different because Atticus is for everyone and Mrs. Dubose is for herself. Atticus and Mrs. Dubose have different types of courage, but they know that they will never win their battle. To be able to start and finish a challenge that outcomes are bad for you take courage.
