The “PROJECT ON FUNDAMENTAL VALUES OF ACADEMIC INTEGRITY“ (1999, The Center of Academic Integrity) is based on five significant characteristics: • Honesty Trust Fairness • Respect Responsibility All these attributes concern not only the educational, but also the professional and private life and have to be kept quite as a moral obligation. Academic integrity, ownership and originality are the core factors in the education field but they could also be allocated to one´s personality as well as organizational purposes. Concerning the educational field it must be absolutely clear for all students to conform a certain honour/ethical code based on personal responsibility and morality because only one´s own work should to be admitted and graded and I want to be correctly graded on my own strengths and maybe even weaknesses. Relating to my professional career I also preserve the above-mentioned predicates in dealing with my department´s staff to enable motivated employees in a satisfying climate. Concerning our organization integrity, originality and ownership are applicable and also definitely indispensable e. g. in the leather production and the research and development department. A lot of formulations along the production flow are needed getting leathers in different colours and a variety of embossed patterns. Every leather factory has its own “secret recipes” and is keeping them very confidential and responsible because of competition and spying. Recent systems engineering together with traditional craftsmanship and expert knowledge are the components for our high-quality final products. The responsible and sustainable exposure to all kind of resources (raw material, machines, finance, environment and of course our staff) is our obligation and commitment. For our research and development department originality and ownership in the international competition
