Linessa Vickers Professor Estes English 101 1N1 02/16/2014 A Wild Adventure My family is fond of amusement parks because we love roller coasters, water slides, and amusement park food. We decided to take our youth to Wild Adventures in Valdosta, GA; it was about 4 hours away from where we all meet up. The youth pastor decided that we would leave at 6:00 a.m. so we could get there by 10:00 a.m., leaving early would give us time to check in at the gate and get everyone their tickets. We finally got there and looking for a place to park was like finding a needle in a hay stack, but we all got parked and unloaded the cars and the van, then we all walked up to the gate to get our tickets, the kids was so happy and ready to get loose. Just in case someone got lost, we all wore the same color shirt. The park didn’t open up until 11:00 a.m. The park is open, and we walked through the gates, I thought to myself, “time to have fun.” When we entered the park, we all thought about what we should do first. So we all went and let the kids put on their swimsuits, and then I suggested that we get on the mini rollercoaster, because the kids wasn’t too fond of the big rollercoaster. The ride probably lasted about 5 to 6 minutes. It was a fun start off ride to get the kids ready for the big stuff, I guess. Then we went and got on the Ant Farm Express Roller, that is a family – friendly coaster. Then we got on the Safari Train, and took a ride around the park so that we could see where we wanted to go next, that ride lasted for about 30 minutes or so. When it was over the kids decided to go to Splash Island. We is off to Splash Island, it was so hot out there and I was happy that the kids choose to go to the water park. As we entered the water park we went to Paradise River where we could just relax as we lay back on a float and float around the river. Then we went to the water
