First, the police officers and the fire department led the way with their vehicles’ lights flashing and their sirens going off. Next the floats began to pass by, they were big and beautiful. One float theme was Uncle Sam, and most of the others were usually Disney characters such as Goofy, Mickey Mouse, and Donald Duck.
