Tina’s mother returned to pick her approximately 2 ½ hours later and found that Tina was discharged 30 minutes earlier. Tina’s mother was extremely distraught, security was called, and a “Code Pink” (hospital-wide child abduction alert) was activated. Local law enforcement was also contacted by hospital security. When the security officer interviewed the mother, she shared with him that she and Tina’s father were divorced and that she had full custody of Tina and her siblings. Tina was located within 30 minutes of her mother’s arrival, by local law enforcement, in the care of her father.
Aileen Wournos: Woman Serial Killer Leilani Daniels AP Psychology Background: Born Aileen Carol Pittman on February 29, 1956 in Rochester, Michigan. Wuornos' childhood was a troubled one. She and her brother were taken in by their grandmother when she was four years old after her father, who is claimed to be a schizophrenic and committed sex crimes with younger girls, hanged himself in prison. Their mother abandoned them in 1960. Her grandfather was an alcoholic and she had claimed he abused her.
She responded immediately by saying that one night she was driving to Parent Night at her school and she hit the principal’s car in the parking lot. Her dad was with her and made her tell the principal what had transpired. At this point she realized that she had matured and could not run away from her problems anymore. When I asked how she felt about the incident, she recalled, “ I was terrified, and felt horrible knowing I had hit the principal’s car, and I thought my was thinking that I was a bad driver and could not be trusted.” But afterwards she felt calm and serene, as if taking the responsibility for the accident had somehow transformed her into a more mature person, not quite an adult yet, but closer than before. In conclusion, I thought my mom had an interesting experience in high school, and that her Coming of Age incident was fairly unique.

In November of 2008, I lost my grandfather due to a illness. That was one of the hardest things I ever had to experience in my life. My grandfather was like another father to me. He always took me camping, fishing, he signed for my first car, and he was a very loving and caring person. He would help anyone in need.
In my older life, and particularly within my job role, this has taught me that I can be emphatic and sympathetic towards people. I have always been interested in history, including my own family history. When I was young, I would sit for hours on end listening to grandmas stories of her own background and where she came from. This has given me a sense of my own self and has taught me how to be a good listener with the people that I care for in my working life. My parents always showed great dignity and respect for other people, their own parents, aunts, and uncles.
Pregnancy over 40 "Mom, can I get pregnant now? I'd really love to spend a lot of time with my children." It was during the 90's when I asked my mom that question. And I was 6 then. Maybe the first thing that could pop into your mind after reading my first statement is a woman who is infertile, has cancer, an uncurable disease, and the like.
