What really makes a hero a true hero? Could it possibly be their everlasting strength and bravery that comes along with that? A hero is someone who can be looked up to for what they have overcome during their struggles and their passion for saving someone or something. That’s great and dandy. Now, what makes a villain so evil yet so interesting? A great villain is someone who has a dark heart due to things in their past not going the way they want. They have no compassion whatsoever, are extremely prideful and what all legit villains seem to all have in common is their amazing intelligence. The Queen from the worldwide known story of Snow White is a match for those characteristics. Who exactly is The Queen though? She isn’t who everyone thinks she is. The Queen is a woman whose past has defined her personality and made her she was. She was addicted to being on top, her jealousy drove her mad and her desires to torture someone else is what truly makes her evil. Every villain has a reason to why they become wicked in the first place. The Evil Queen makes many appearances in different stories for example the show Once Upon a Time or basically anything Disney related. The Evil Queen wasn’t always as bitter as she is commonly known for. It’s impossible for someone to just be born angry and bitter, something had to cause it. In the Disney book, My side of the Story: Snow White/Evil Queen, The Queen marries someone whom she does not love at all just for the title of becoming the Queen of all the land. This causes her to become Snow White’s loving stepmother. At first, The Queen is actually very gentle and courteous towards Snow White. She enjoyed having Snow around and had no worries because she thought she was the fairest of them all.
