How many kids can say they crashed their parent’s vehicle at age 14? I can’t believe that I did. I was so afraid of telling my parents that I was just in a car accident, none the less with their vehicle. They were almost 6 hours away with my sister, and I was not at home where I was supposed to be. A wave of fear came into me when the paramedics and police arrived. This all started with a phone call to one of my friends who lived in a neighboring town. After an hour of convincing me to come see him, I finally made up my mind to go. I got off the phone and began getting ready to leave. I got up the courage to grab my coat and go out to the garage. I remember a sense of excitement rushing over me, as if I just got something I really wanted, when I hit the button to open the garage door. I got in the yellow ZR2 Blazer, and backed out. The smooth leather steering wheel below my hands felt like silk, and was so exciting to grab. I was now going down the long driveway along the horse pasture, on my way to town. When I got to my hometown, I was as nervous as performer going on stage. Argyle was a small town where everyone knew everyone and everything about them. I was so paranoid that someone would notice me, and turn me in. It’s not like I really blended in, beings I was in bright yellow blazer with black racing strips. That’s not a vehicle you seen very often, and when you did see it you knew that it was my dad’s. I got through town unnoticed, as if I were a ghost, and quickly got to Darlington. I spent 15 minutes in the little bustling town when I noticed the sky changes to a dark gloomy grey, then it began snowing. I left that town, and began what seemed like a journey home. I got about a mile outside of Argyle, and I remember seeing this darker than normal spot on the pavement. As I went over the strange patch, the blazer started to fishtail, and all I saw was
