Often, the stereotypes fail to acknowledge the multidimensional and composite nature of human beings through utilization of simple observable characteristics. Stereotyping results in misunderstandings between individuals due to the existence of prejudgments in interactions where people rely on stereotyping to predict behavior or reactions.
