When I was signing up for classes I never thought I would learn so much from a current world problems class. I thought I knew all that there was needed to know because of places like Twitter and Facebook that are always up to date with current new stories. Well, I was wrong. I never thought to think deeper into problems than just what the media displays. Coming into this course I feel like my views were very standoffish. I never truly thought about how these problems affect people in a big way. Throughout this course I learned about many different topics. In this class we learned many things about many topics. Like I said above I have many views that have changed throughout this class and now I feel like I have a more knowledgeable view on the world. I believe that there are certain world problems that are bigger than others, and need to be addressed soon. One of those being, climate change. Climate change is real and people need to realize that. Climate change has changed the weather, to be hotter and has also killed off certain species of animals. Climate change and the environment closely relate,a dn are ones that I am really passionate on helping. This class shared a lot of facts on the environment and climate change that I had not known before. Learning about these has changed me. I do not really use paper products anymore, I use reusable dishes. I also stopped purchasing water bottles, and I use my Nalgene water bottle more religiously. Also, before coming to college I never really recycled. Now, I do my best to sort my trash and dispose of thing properly. I had realized that every little thing that I do can help make an impact. Whereas before I was not doing anything to help, so I was technically contributing to the issues of climate change and issues on the environment without even knowing
