Kendall Fagan Mrs. Randolph Honors English 1 28 February 2011 Blame Essay Imagine feeling such a strong hate that it warps and manipulates your ability to think and act clearly. In a perfect life, everyone would get along phenomenally and there would be no arguments or feuds. However, reality consists of pointless and meaningful arguments and many hateful people. Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet is a perfect example of how hate can change even the most loyal people and lead to many unwanted events. Juliet’s tragic death blames most of the characters in the play and unfolds the effect of hate’s far-reaching power as the fault of her sorrowful demise, but Nurse, Friar, Capulet, and fate are most at blame.

I just wanted to be a perfect companion of my friends... I don’t take too much time of reflecting it on myself; I forget everything because all I wanted was to keep all of them. Rain drops falling, caused her to become wet, untidy loose blouse and crumpled skirt, sweats ironically flowing from her forehead and the flesh of silence caused her from drowning.
Jack Davis’ didactic play explores the nature of white society and the mistreatment of indigenous Australians as they struggle to survive in sub-human conditions amidst the great depression. Davis uses a variety of dramatic literary techniques to depict how hostile white culture controls society using apartheid-style policies. The lack of recognition and understanding led to unfair actions, as the indigenous battled to survive the depression. The ironic and contemptuous justification of power for misguided political agenda, unfortunately led to mass dispossession of the indigenous. Contrastingly, not all white Australians can be generalised by the behaviours of the few, with a couple of dissimilar figures being used to demonstrate alternate approaches as to the acceptance of the indigenous.
The white audience is exposed to the hypocrisy that Mr Neal and Sergeant Carrol can drink but Sam and Jimmy are not allowed and are thrown in ‘the lock up’ for doing so. Consequently, this shows how
When Koorine confesses her dream about being a swimmer, her mum states, “Ever see black champions walking around? Swimming’s a white fella’s sport.” The confrontational use of black and white emphasizes the racial differences in appearance and how that is a premise for discrimination. In the cinema scene, the composition of the shot where aborigines were placed at the bottom of the theater emphasises the superiority of the white children who were placed at the top of the theater. This is emphasized through the use of low angle shot. Thus, the aborigines were excluded from the majority (white) due to their different skin colour.
Later in the poem, Hughes accuses his wife of abandoning her family. The repetition of “you” in the lines “unravelled your marriage, left your children echoing like tunnels in labyrinth, left your mother a dead-end” emphasises the immensely accusatory tone of the poem. These accusations in The Minotaur show that Hughes puts all blame for their failed marriage onto his wife, and is not taking any of the responsibility. Hughes’s view of Plath is a conflicting perspective to society’s view of the couple’s relationship. How Hughes portrays his conflicting perspective

Abigail pretends she feels cold and sees a yellow bird. Abigail says in line 1001: "But God made my face; you cannot want to tear my face. Envy is a deadly sin, Mary!" This makes everybody think that an innocent girl Mary Warren has worship with the devil. The panic covers the whole court and all the girls followed Abigail's intentions to accuse
Because the elderly have a stereotypical image that they are useless they become a focus point as they have negative attitudes towards things and become more dependent on friends, family and social care services. This theory is like the disengagement and activity theory. The social creation of dependency theory is both sociological and psychological theory. An example of this theory is of a woman that use to participate in a hobby but can no longer do so because she is retired and has a low pension. Now she feels vulnerable and like she can’t enjoy life as she can’t take part.
