English Successes in Foreign Policy in the Period 1511-1525 did not outweigh the failures. However in the years 1511-1521 did not outweigh the failures however if you include the later years, including the 2nd French war and the events that followed after 1521, foreign policy was a failure for Henry and England. Despite this the early years showed promise for Henry with the successes outweighing the failures. An example of this is demonstrated in Source 4 where it describes the Treaty of London as “The Greatest Triumph” for England during Wolsey’s time in power as the King’s right hand man, where he arranged for twenty rulers to sign a treaty of perpetual peace in 1518. The source also goes on to describe Wolsey’s successes of the Field of Cloth of Gold which most pleased Henry as well as the meeting with Charles V at Sandwich and Gravelines in 1520.

Name: Emma Glavatchi In the heat of the night In the beginning of this story Gillespie thought of Virgil as he would of thought of any other coloured person, but as soon as he found out that he was wrong, Virgil was a very gifted detective with lots of skills. When Tibbs was first taken in to see Gillespie, Gillespie was yelling and screaming at Tibbs for no reason but Virgil did not break down to the harassment and proved Gillespie wrong by showing him his ID card that proved he was a cop. I think that Virgil earned a little respect from Gillespie , by showing him that he was calm and mature. As the story unfolded Gillespie saw more and more of Virgil’s good qualities. Gillespie saw that Virgil was calm, educated, smart, paid attention to detail, and was good at his job.
To me, his paper was organized well and his conclusion topped his paper off too. The part of his conclusion that stood out to me was stated “Citizenship came from people’s love for the country and the trust in our leaders to do what was right. We are faced with some of the most difficult challenges America has seen. We cannot overcome these challenges without citizenship and social responsibility” (4-5). I thought this statement that was written was well because the last sentence of the paper shows what he was trying to explain; citizenship saving

America’s successes in war generally boosted nationalism and spirit in the people. The United States were the true victors of war coming out with the most. Unlike other many other nations, America’s land, aside from Pearl Harbor, was barely touched omitting any extra time or money that would be necessary for reconstruction. Avoiding reconstruction allowed time for production. Not only was America prosperous, but they also were generous.
Highlighted within the opening two pages, Ethan’s flaws (both physical and of character) made him quite a distinguishable character in Starkfield and whilst everyone “gave him a greeting,” his taciturnity was respected and it was only on “rare occasions” that anyone ever stopped him for a word. This, however, was not out of ill-manners on Ethan’s part; merely an inability to communicate and express himself to others, a trait that made him seemingly deeply flawed. To the new arrival at least, Ethan’s failings must have made it seem as if the man was more of a victim of himself than any other physical problem or evil twist of fate. Circumstance and fate, however, were the reason why Ethan was still in Starkfield in the first place. Harmon noted that “most of the smart ones get away [from Starkfield]” and this was indeed true for Ethan as well.
Although men were not created equally, the forefathers created different historical documents, which have a very serious theme and tone. These important documents affected the past in many good ways. “We hold these truths to be self-evident that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights; that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness”- the Declaration of Independence (by Thomas Jefferson). This is a very important quote, because the Declaration of Independence was a big step in history for the United States of America to become independent. This text and its quote are written in a serious tone, because it’s about a very serious theme.
