Tennessee State University’s Aristocrat of Bands’ Senior Day performance from 2011 was performance you would not want to miss out on. From the smooth transitions to the unique formations the show was a great one. On the other hand the unneeded gaps and bad timing before and during the time when the band presented the seniors. None the less, the performance was a great one. If the goal was to win over the crowd then it passed because they performed crowd pleasers, was synchronized for the most part, and gave the crowd something to remember.
Students are taught to develop their skills through specific techniques. They are encouraged to review and ask questions during tutoring sessions based on the teacher’s instruction. Students generate questions and draw conclusions through reciprocal peer interaction. The reinforcement they receive while working in groups motivates learning. These sessions create a classroom where student pairs can work on different levels and on different types of problems (i.e., word problems or counting) or at varying reading levels.
This time, it was asking about a class we were both taking in school. After he smoothly got me to text him we began talking daily. I started seeing a more mature, changed side to Corwin and I found out that my initial impression of him was completely wrong. He turned out to be a truly amazing person that I never gave him enough credit to think he could be. The more I got to know the real Corwin Weik, the more I realized that he built up walls and portrayed a certain person because that’s what he was used to, just like me.
"Well, as genius as he was onstage, he was the greatest friend you could ever imagine: supportive, protective, loving. It's very hard hard to talk about him in the past because he was so present in all of our lives," Crystal added, sharing personal stories of Williams' ante-upping banter with the former's own immigrant relatives in private moments. "For almost 40 years, he was the brightest star in the comedy galaxy." Though the best testament to Williams' manic and diverse comedic range was in the star's own words — as shown in a video montage of the comedian's clips and quips. “The 39 Steps”, is a special kind of Broadway show. These four people change from character to character without losing the audience’s attention and enthusiasm one bit. These actors are so good that they even made the audience laugh without losing their attention on the theme of the play. This is very important in any type of show because actors always want to keep the audience interested and entertained. This was the first show in a while that I have stood awake and paid attention throughout the whole play because of the amount of talent that these actors have that left me in

Fundamental Reading Ralph Washington EDU 371 Phonics Based Reading & Decoding Jennifer Hanson October 8, 2012 This week’s lesson started with me reviewing some of the sounds from last week. In order to read, we must first know and understand the sounds of the letters. After our review we began with lesson 3 and began to work with our grapheme sounds. These are sounds that are represented by a letter or group of letters that make up one sound such as “ch”, “sh”, and “th”. By using these shortcuts we were able to slide the sounds together to make words and begin our reading process.
I liked that my teachers new me on a personal level. They knew my strengths and weakness in school. Kindergarten to second grade I never had a problem with reading or writing. When I entered the third grade the expectations of knowing how to read turned to reading and comprehending the meaning of the text. I thought that this would be very easy for me because I could read the text so why couldn’t I just comprehend it?
