It has red or orange antennae, lacks hair, and its claws seem rough or grainy. This hermit crab will pick a shell it can pull its entire body back into. I saw both P. hirsutiusculus and P. granosimanus in the same tidepool at Rosario recently. A third species to watch for is Pagurus beringanus. This species is usually subtidal but may occasionally be seen in very low subtidal areas.

The Oceanic White-Tipped Shark is a pelagic shark which means it lives close to the surface and rarely goes to the ocean floor. It is an aggressive slow moving fish that usually will find a carcass of a whale or other large marine animal and dominate the feeding frenzy. It gets its Name white-tipped shark because every fin on the shark has a white tip except the anal fin which has a black tip. They inhabit most of the Salt water of the world because they can live in cold or warm water. Excluding the occasional feeding frenzy, white tips also eat a diet that consists mostly of cephalopods.
1- Condylactis Anemone (Condylactis gigantean): The Condy Anemone is also known as the Haitian Anemone or Giant Golden Anemone. It is found throughout the Caribbean and Western Atlantic, in lagoons or on inner reefs, as individuals, or loose groups. It is never found in connected clusters. Its disc diameter is of 16" (40 cm), but a disc of about 4" (10 cm) is common in an aquarium. This species has diverse color variations.
Although their venom isn’t not lethal to humans it is used to subdue and kill the prey, and they are also known to strangle their prey to death like the Boa Constrictor snakes. When this vicious snake feels threatened its first reaction is to lunge at the threatening object and attempt to bite. This snake is an above average breeder producing 4 to 12 eggs approximately twice a year. This reptile was introduced after World War II when the snake was accidently transported from the South Pacific to Guam allowing for the snake to introduce to other locations such as Florida unknowingly (Rodda, 1992). The Emperor Angelfish also known as the Imperator Angelfish is usually found in most parts of the Indo- Central Pacific Ocean and in the warmer parts of the Red Sea. They live in areas with rich coral growth Young emperor angelfishes tend to live alone, hiding in reef holes and crevices. In some parts young emperor angelfishes frequent shrimp cleaning stations and would occasionally help shrimps pick off parasites and dead skin from a fish waiting to be cleaned. The emperor angelfish is a carnivore unlike most species of angelfish that are herbivores. Emperor angelfish eats coral heads, small invertebrates like sponges, and crustaceans such as shrimp and shellfish.
It can also range from a few inches to eight feet in diameter. Lion’s mane jellyfish are mostly found the in cold, frigid waters of the southern Arctic Ocean and the northern Pacific Ocean. Although they have extremely long tentacles, a sting by a lion’s mane jellyfish is rarely fatal and may cause a rash. When stung, a strong stinging sensation is very likely to occur for a short time. The most dangerous species of jellyfish is the box jellyfish, which is widely known as the sea wasp as well.
Olive Ridleys get their name from the coloring of their heart-shaped shell, which starts out gray but becomes olive green once the turtles are adult. Hatchlings are dark gray with a pale yolk scar, but appear all black when wet. Carapace length ranges from 37 to 50 mm. Olive Ridleys are omnivorous, meaning that they consume a varied diet from both plant and animal sources. Distribution Although Olive Ridleys spend time in the open ocean, they also forage in coastal waters and estuaries.Olive Ridley turtles are found only in warmer waters, including the southern Atlantic, Pacific and Indian oceans.
These reptiles have the ability to do incredible things. The Green Sea Turtle is one of seven species and happens to be the largest member of the Cheioniidae family. According to www.turtles.org/hawgrnd.htm , scientists assume that post-hatchlings, pelagic-stage Green Sea Turtles are omnivorous, but there are no data on diet from this age class. Young Green Sea Turtles have a diet of jellyfish and other invertebrates. Adults tend to eat sea grass and algae.
