As a child I had this romantic and strange perception of happiness. My formula for happiness had just 3 requirements, first you had to be beautiful, second you had to be the hero or heroine of a film and third you had to be married to be happy. I truly believed that beautiful people, famous, rich people and married people were very happy. My childish opinion obviously underwent a drastic change as I started seeing the real world in the process of growing up.
Every one of us struggles in life to find that elusive state of Happiness .But the meanings of term happiness differ amongst people.
Some believe that happiness exists wherever there is wealth and money. Some others think that supreme and ultimate happiness comes from prosperity and glory. Yet another group of people hold the view that true happiness lies in the acquirement of knowledge, degrees and high social positions. Some people get all the joy they need just being around their family.
We all live in a time where everything has to be quick and fast. We want happiness and we want it fast. But to acquire it hastily could also lead to lose it rapidly. Happiness may be easy to find but it is difficult to sustain.
What really is Happiness?
Happiness is an emotion that is a combination of excitement, joy and peace. It is a state of mind characterized by positive or pleasant emotions ranging from contentment to bliss.

Happiness is merely not a destination but a journey. Its a pursuit to be in harmony with the life that we lead. Being happy does not mean that everything is perfect in life .Anything that is as simple which brings a smile on someone’s face can generate happiness.
