Literature review A film, also called a movie or motion picture, is a series of still or moving images. It is produced by recording photographic images with cameras, or by creating images using animation techniques or visual effects. Films are reflect culture and society to make people realize fact or things that happened and also make people dream and imagine about future or fantasy world. An Independent film (called Indie or Indy Film) is a film production that is produced mostly or completely outside of the major film studio system. In addition to being produced and distributed by independent entertainment companies, Independent film are also produced and/or distributed by subsidiaries of major film studios. Independent film are sometimes distinguishable by their content and style and the way of filmmaker. Usually, but not always, indie films are made with considerably lower film budgets than major studio films . Indy films are often screened at local, national, or international film festivals before distribution. An Indy film production can rival a mainstream film production if it has enough funding and distribution. Indy film also separate to low budget film, no budget film and underground film. A low-budget film is a motion picture shot with little or no funding from a major film studio or private investor. Many Independent films are made on low budgets, but films made on the mainstream circuit with inexperienced or unknown filmmakers can also have low budgets. Many young or first time filmmakers shoot low budget films to prove their talent before doing bigger productions. Now, young filmmakers rely on film festivals for pre promotion. They use this to gain acclaim and attention for their films, which often leads to a limited release in theatres. Some low budget films gain a cult following and this often leads to a wide release .
