The Treaty of Versailles, the peace treaty that ended WWI punished Germany for starting the war, Germany was not allowed to have heavy artillery, was forced to give up colonies in Africa, and for causing the war Germany was to pay $33 billion dollars in damages. The League of Nations was an organization to prevent future wars. The first presidential debate and both president Obama and Romney agreed that their corporate taxes are too high. So they agree to try and take the percentage down to 25 percent. In Path to Prosperity, Paul Ryan offers an 80% cut in discretionary spending - the largestgutting of governmental public services in our lifetime - and FEMA finds itself stuck on the chopping block. Although exact numbers aren't given to how much disaster funds would be cut, it's safe to say that calling 211 might be the only option left in a nation starved for cash flow. This was the point made by Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid yesterday when he chastised Mitt and Paul for even thinking that they could show sympathy for the hurricane victims. A bit harsh? Yes.
Wal-Mart workers filed 30 counts of unfair labor practice with the National labor Relations Board (NLRB). The representations alleged “widespread and egregious attempts by Wal-Mart to silence e workers who have been calling for a change of course at the company” (Our Wal-Mart files over 30 New Counts of Unfair Labor Practices Against Wal-Mart for Attempts to Silence Associates, 2013). These example show that of a US organizations that still continue to abuse labor practices both within our country as well as internationally. Although at times these companies have faced tarnished images, these businesses continue to reap profits while executives and stock holders swim in the benefits. Peterson reminded the Bush aide that the United States faced a frightening long term balance sheet. This is the same scenario we have heard before but now we are living it. “As more than 70 million baby boomers begin retiring later in the decade, the Social Security and Medicare programs are destined to sink into multitrillion-dollar deficits, causing enormous hardships for younger Americans. Bush had a chance to avert disaster, Peterson told his aide. By using the immediate surpluses to fix the looming crisis, the new president could possibly solve "one of the largest fiscal challenges
The film points out that every decade since World War II, the American public has been told a lie to bring into war to fuel the military-economic machine, which in return maintains Americas dominance. Industrial military complex is three linked to the military, industry and congress. For a congress defence bending it means job. Loosing a hundred defence jobs in the district could mean a hundred boats, its not just a 100 workers, its
He went on to say: "If a retailer has not gotten involved with this, if he has not spent money on this election, if he has not sent money to Norm Coleman and these other guys," then those retailers "should be shot; should be thrown out of their goddamn jobs." In January 2009, FedEx exercised an option to buy fifteen Boeing 777F planes and had an option to buy fifteen more.
