Below, we first outline the organizational/management context involved, then identify the major problems and systems found in the case. Our analysis would mainly focus on how different between WestJet and JetBlue used Sabre’s SabreSonic CSS to implement their system upgrade. Thirdly, we identify some broader alternatives to these two airline companies. Besides, we also analyze the possible approaches that can avoid the problems faced in the case. It now gives people with disabilities rights in the areas of: -Employment -Education -Access to goods, facilities and services, including larger private clubs and transport services -Buying or renting land or property, including making it easier for people with disabilities to rent property and for tenants to make disability-related adaptations -Functions of public bodies, for example issuing of licences The legislation requires public bodies to promote equality of opportunity for people with disabilities. It also allows the government to set minimum standards so that people with disabilities can use public transport easily. This promotes anti- discriminatory practice because it is giving the opinion that everyone should have equal opportunities regardless of their physical status/ capability or mental status.
There has been an increase on flights and this also has an affect on the noise because of the sound of the planes on the runway. One way which Belfast city airport and the council can overcome this could be to cover the cost to get homes insulated so that the noise of the Belfast City airport will no longer be a problem. Another way they could improve the ethical concerns would be for the Airport to only to departure flights from certain times during the day to stop people from being woken out of their sleep and to over come the complaints they get from the surrounding community. The airport could also by over the houses in the surrounding communities and then the people who are living in them will be able to afford to move away from the airport into a much quieter area.
