Two Businesses in Our Region Thorpe Park is a local family amusement park that opened May 24th 1979 at Staines Rd, Chertsey, Surrey KT16 8PN,by Lord Mountbatten. The park currently has approximately four hundred (400) employees, which classifies them as big business but they alternate between the 400 workers per day, those workers are then split up among the twenty five rides that Thorpe Park provides. Within their yearly report there was found to be a ninety-six percent employee satisfaction out of the ninety seven percent that completed the survey. In total there are twenty five rides in Thorpe Park which are broken into two different categories which are Extreme Thrills and Thrilling Fun. Extreme Thrills has a total of 11 rides and Thrilling Fun has a total of 13 rides, though out of the categories Extreme Thrills seems to be favoured by the general public gaining excellent reviews on the park’s website.

The cabin was built in 1947, the year my father was born. However the cabin does not look like it did when my dad was born; it has undergone many repairs since that time. The cabin is about 30 feet by 50 feet, and is made out of pine logs. It has been separated into six rooms. There are places where you can see between the logs because certain parts still have not undergone repairs.
