The united states deliberated and came to an agreement with The Soviet Union, to take away this missiles stations in Cuba and moved them back to Russia. The Bay of Pigs was not effective because it was not planned through. The Berlin Wall was constructed because many refugees were escaping from east East Germany to West Germany.
