The next important event is the marriage, as that marks the bind that forever holds them together. The next event is the banishment or specifically, the fight between Romeo and Tybalt as that marks the start of Friar Lawrence's ingenious plan to keep Romeo and Juliet together. These events create the final resolution which is Romeo dead because of assumption that Juliet is dead. Juliet waking up to find Romeo dead. And Paris dead because Romeo decides to kill him for revenge.
Bad luck, can be defined as an inescapable and often conflicting results; destiny. Romeo and Juliet were ultimately the ones responsible for their own deaths looking from a destined point of view. On the other hand, the death of the two are partly caused by bad management. The fact that Romeo and Juliet got married knowing that there was a bitter feud between their two families. This feud brought problems along with it, such as the killing of Tybalt by Romeo.
In scene vii, Claudius tells Laertes that Hamlet is responsible for Polonius’ death and they advise a plan to kill him without the suspicions of foul play. Laertes also plans to use a sharpened sword instead of a dull fencing blade. Laertes is known for his expertise with a sword. Then tragic hits again as Gertrude comes in with news of Ophelia’s death. Ophelia drowned in the river, which causes Laertes to flee the room, overcome with grief.
Romeo's characterization causes him to disregard the possible consequences of the secretive marriage because he lives in the moment and only cares about his love for Juliet. Later on, the consequences come around full circle as Romeo is faced with banishment when he kills a man out of revenge. The man slays Romeo's close friend, Mercutio, causing him to be overcome with emotion and it motivates him to avenge Mercutio's death. Proving to be a crime of passion, Romeo kills Mercutio's murderer in the middle of town during a rash fury when he has no regards for what punishment he may receive. Towards the end of the play, Romeo visits Juliet in her tomb and, believing she is dead, drinks a
Tybalt stabs Mercutio under Romeo's arm, and he dies after cursing plagues on the houses of the Capulets and the Montagues. Romeo then angry after the death of Mercutio lashes out and kills Tybalt . Benvolio tells Romeo to run, because of the Prince's death threat. Benvolio tells the Prince what happened, amd sice both family's lost a member , the Prince banishes Romeo from Verona . The conflict adds to the story by making it interesting to read, and gives the reader the feeling that anything can happen at any time.
Throughout the play we follow the lives of Romeo and Juliet whose forbidden love causes the deaths of six different people including themselves. Romeo and Juliet never meant to harm anybody but like in any good tragic love story fate tends to get in the way. When Mercutio lies dying he asks Romeo why he stepped in between whim and Tybalt causing him to be stabbed and all Romeo had to say was “I thought all for the best.” The first to die in “Romeo and Juliet” is Mercutio; he is killed in a sword fight against Tybalt defending Romeos honor because Romeo refused to fight Tybalt who came looking for a duel with Romeo because Romeo did not want to hurt anyone from Juliet’s family. Romeo states to Tybalt before Mercutio takes up his sword to duel Tybalt in Romeos Stead is “Tybalt, the reason that I have to love thee Doth much excuse the appertaining rage to such a greeting. Villain am I none.
Othello, hearing the noise, thought that Cassio was killed and went to murder Desdemona. Iago, joined by Lodovico and Grantiano, came to the wounded Cassio and killed Roderigo. As Bianca and Emilia arrived to the scene, Iago accused Bianca of engineering the plot against Cassio and then commanded Emilia to inform Othello of the incident | Cassio managed to dodge Roderigo’s attack, but was wounded by IagoOthello thought that Cassio was killed and went on to find DesdemonaIago managed to kill Roderigo to keep his plans undercover | Line 25-27 page 225Line 34-41 page 227Line 73 page 229 | 2. | Othello entered as Desdemona was sleeping. Because of the families non-acceptance from an out-dated feud it results in the death of Romeo and Juliet, as it proclaims in the prologue “from forth the fatal loins of these two foes, a pair of star-crossed lovers take their life”. The events and prejudices surrounding their situation
Hamlet struggles with himself, he begins to act strangely. Just look at the scene with himself and Rosencrantz and Guildenstern, he acts strangely, he disrupts normal life in the palace, he too brings chaos to Ophelia's life too. She apparently loses her mind and ends her life with suicide. Polonius is killed. Laertes wants to avenge the death of his father by killing Hamlet.
Hamlet also knew that he could not tell anyone that Claudius has murdered his father or that he had seen the ghost of his father because no one would believe him. Throughout the play Hamlet expresses his “madness” an example would be when he meets Ophelia in the court. In the beginning of their conversation he tells her that he once loved her but then is also confused saying that he didn’t love her at all. This is due to the fact that he sees woman as deceivers because of his mother’s relationship with his uncle. When Hamlet discovers that Polonius and the King are hiding nearby he explodes in a fit of rage, violently attacking her verbally and physically almost like a mad person would.
