Frank Lucas The American Gangster Frank Lucas was born in La Grange, North Carolina on September 9, 1930. He made a living in Harlem, New York in the 1960’s and 70’s as a heroin dealer and organized crime boss. He was successful mainly for cutting out the middleman and buying his heroin directly from Southeast Asia. This movie was produced by Ridley Scott and was brought to theatres November 2, 2007. The main character in this movie is a man named Frank Lucas, played by the great Denzel Washington. Frank Lucas was a limo driver-turned-right hand man for a man by the name of Bumpy Johnson, an American mob boss in Harlem, New York. One day while in a store, Bumpy Johnson died of a heart attack.
The narrator in “Tell-Tale Heart” lost his composure after he murdered the old man, in contrast to when Rainsford murdered General Zaroff. After the narrator murders the old man and visitors come to the house, he still hears the heart of the old man beating. As he talks to the visitors, it seems to him that the heart beat gets louder and louder to the point where he loses self-control and admits to the deed. However, after Rainsford wins the most dangerous game he clearly keeps his serenity. Instead of showing any guilt, Rainsford actually seems to be more at peace after he pulls the trigger.

P&G’s CEO was angry with the Wall Street Journal reporter for printing stories he was not ready to reveal. The reporter, on the other hand, thought that the CEO had deliberately lied to her days earlier when she attempted to confirm the story. She felt he sabotaged the Wall Street Journal by allowing the New York Times to run the story.
