Justice and the Australian Legal System Essay In Australia, there is a rising problem in what should be a simple attempt to access our countries justice system. Fighting this battle for their rights to access justice, are two minority groups, and one surprising majority group, of Australians. This includes, though is not exclusive to; the mentally ill, people who have been convicted of serious crimes who are currently imprisoned, and most astonishingly, the general Australian public, the low/middle income earners who are not eligible for assistance, yet with everyday lifestyle costs, cannot afford to go to trial.
