There are many similarities and differences between North Korea totalitarian and Animal Farm animalism. These two government think that being equal is the best .“For decades North Korea has been one of the world's most secretive societies. It is one of the few countries still under nominally communist rule.” ( BBC News 2015). Kim Jong-un became a president after his father, Kim Jong-il, death from a heart attack in December 2011.(BBC News 2015). Kim Jong-un did not stop the idea of communism but support it just like his father.. In Animal Farm there is no communism but instead it is call Animalism. As the animals stay in the farm they come up with The Seven Commandments “ Whatever goes upon two legs (referring to humans) is an enemy. What goes upon four legs, or has wings, is a friend...All animals are equal.” (Orwell 9). Animal Farm deals with a group of animals revolting against the farmer. They do lots of different way of revolting for example they chase him out off the property, and take over the farm. The rebellion was led by two main pigs consist of Napoleon and Snowball. Snowball teaches other animals to read and write. On the other side Napoleon educates others under the principle of Animalism. (12) The history of North Korea can be traced back to many hundred years ago. The main event would be in the 1945 at the end of World War II. (Fry 2013). After the war end the Soviet was in the northern part of Korea in the area of the 38th parallel and the U.S. was in the southern part of Korea. At that time the Soviet was a communist country which influence the northern part of Korea. Kim Il-Sung became the first premier of Democratic People’s Republic of Korea. Influenced by the Soviet Union leader, Joseph Stalin, in 1948, Kim Il-Sung stayed in the office until his death in 1994. Because of Kim Il-Sung death his son, Kim Jong-Il, became the president.
