Jon Porter once said, “It is imperative that when thousands of selfless volunteers respond to those who have incurred the wrath of a natural disaster that legal liability need not be hanging over their heads”. In our society today, we are very busy living our lives and finding or continuing a career. In all our busy lives we often forget to the help the ones in need but some people do remember to be helpful and creates NGOs to help and The Canadian Red Cross is just one of them. Their mission is to improve the lives of people in need by multiplying the power of humanity in Canada and around the world. Apparently, multiculturalism is not possible without the participation and engagement of the people. Central Valley, California The landscape of the Delta is ever-changing, due to issues with mankind and global warming. In Heidi Cullen’s, “The Weather of the Future”, the Delta is portrayed as one of the most essential pieces to the survival and success of the Central Valley, California. The fact is that the Delta is in a crisis. If this is held true, then there would be a never-ending chain of events leading to disaster after disaster. In order to get the Delta to optimal efficiency, there needs to be an immediate shift in the way that humans operate on a daily basis.
And Red Cross is always there for all the help they need. And those are what the Australian Red Crosses do as well as the international ones. But in overseas at Red Cross, they also volunteer with giving/building shelters for homeless, go and visit the sick people and help them heal, visit those in prison and bury the dead people. This I Believe: Lydia Darragh I believe what I’m doing is what a person should do for her own nation. I believe the pious quakeress blessed God for my preservation and most of all, I believe we should all become examples of courage and patriotism. I believe no matter what happen, I should always stand up and protect my country and loved ones.
